    The Three Races: words that end with (-er ) (ex. Faster)

    Seed Sisters: words that end with (-est) (ex. Fastest)

    The Fox and the Grapes: Find the sight words; always, happy and near

    Jingle , Jangle, Jiggle: Find words ending in (-er and –est), then make a list of the base word (ex. Faster –fast)

     

    Spelling Words: 

    The words are using –er, -est and the base word!

    Hard, harder, hardest, fast, faster, fastest, slow, slower, sooner slowest

     

    You can ...

     * Practice writing them 3 times each
    * Write each word in a complete sentence
    * Write a story using as many of the words as you can
    * Challenge yourself and write the words in alphabetical order
    *Have someone quiz you
