    Ten Magic Butterflies

     

    Just like the story mentions, there are so many ways to make ten!

    Try using your fingers (ie. put down 2 fingers and hold up 8), cereal, pretzels, buttons, toys....

    Count out 10 items.  Then make your collection into two piles.  

    Try 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, 4 and 6, 5 and 5, and so on.
