Concert Band

We have a busy schedule ahead, and I am so glad you are a part of our instrumental program.  Concert Dates and Lesson Schedules will be ditributed soon.  Please make sure to get on Remind so you don’t miss any important information- text @nfhscb to 81010 - students and parents/guardians are encouraged to subscribe to keep the lines of communication open.   You can message me directly through remind or parents/guardians may email ccustode@nfschools.net with any questions or concerns. 

There are just a few supplies to pick up to ensure you have a successful year!

1. A 2” three ring binder
2. Your Standard of Excellence Lesson Book- whatever you left off with in prep school, either the Red book or the Blue Book- bring it with you
3. Pencils- make sure you have more than one, and make sure they’re sharp with an eraser
4. If you play a reed instrument, you must have reeds! I suggest always having three in your case.  I recommend Vandoren or Rico.  We will not be supplying students with reeds this year, so it might be wise to pick up a box (or two). You will also need a tube of cork grease and a cleaning swab.
5. Percussionists- you will need your drumsticks- 5B
6. Brass- don’t forget your slide oil or valve oil

I am providing a list of area music stores where you will be able to purchase items from your supply list.  Please let me know if you are having an issue gathering any of the supplies listed and we will work together to make sure you have what you need.
