Challenge: Kindness BINGO
It is so important to remember and practice being kind!!! Click the picture above to download and print your own Family Kindness BINGO board! Be sure to play with your family and friends and let me know how you liked the game! What was your favorite one to do? Which one made others smile more? Let me know at avail@nfschools.net.Challenge: Thank You Notes to Community Helpers
Mr. Rogers said, when you're going through a hard time, "look for the helpers." Think about all of the helpers in your community right now. Grocery store workers, police, food service workers, postal delivery workers, firefighters, hospital staff, teachers, your parents -- and many more!
To spread kindness, choose a few helpers and make them a "Thank You" card! Ask a parent to print the template here, or use art supplies at home to create your own!
Be sure to share your creations by sending a picture to avail@nfschools.net or on the Niagara Street School Facebook page with #virtualkindnessclub.
Challenge: Spread Positive Messages!
For this challenge, use sidewalk chalk to decorate your drive way and the side walk in front of your house. Write words and draw pictures that will make people feel happy. Imagine the different people who might pass by and get joy from the words and pictures that you create!
If you don't have sidewalk chalk, use art supplies at home to create posters or signs that spread positive messages. Then, hang these signs around your house (with your parents' permission) to spread positivity on the inside! Maybe you could hang one on the refrigerator, the bathroom mirror, or on a door! Try to think of a place where everyone in the house will see it often and remember to be positive.
Take a picture of your positive message and send it to avail@nfschool.net or share with Niagara Street School on our facebook page using #virtualkindnessclub.
